Duo Could Win Caps Sunday, 29th Mar 2015 10:41 Town duo Daryl Murphy and Christophe Berra could win caps later today when the Republic of Ireland and Scotland are in action in Euro 2016 qualifiers. Murphy is tipped to start and win his 15th full cap when Ireland face Poland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin (Sky Sports 5, 7.30pm). The 32-year-old is still looking for his first international goal. Ireland are currently fourth in Group D, three points behind the Poles, who lead, and equal on points with Germany and Scotland. Despite scoring the winner in Wednesday’s 1-0 friendly victory over Northern Ireland, Berra looks set to be on the bench when the Scots take on Gibraltar at Hampden Park (Sky Sports 1, 4.30pm). The 30-year-old has won 29 full caps, scoring three goals. Meanwhile, Blues loan striker Chris Wood will captain New Zealand when they face South Korea in a friendly in Seoul on Tuesday with the regular skipper, West Ham’s Winston Reid, missing out due to a hamstring injury. Town defender Tommy Smith was left out of what is an experimental squad featuring a number of uncapped players. Elsewhere, the Blues' U12s have progressed to today's final at the Pro 10 International Cup staged by the Peamount United club in Dublin where they will face local side DDSL Blue.
