Tabb Returns at Blackburn Saturday, 2nd May 2015 11:38 Jay Tabb’s return to the left of midfield in place of Stephen Hunt is the only change to the Blues’ line-up for this afternoon’s crucial final day game at Blackburn Rovers (Sky Sports 2, midday, KO 12.15pm). Tabb missed last week's 2-1 home victory over Nottingham Forest due to illness. Noel Hunt returns to the bench after his knee injury in place of Luke Varney, who is unavailable against his parent club. Richard Chaplow, fit again after a groin problem, comes into the 18 for Elliott Hewitt. Blackburn hand 19-year-old keeper David Raya only his second start for the club, while at the other end of the scale 35-year-old one-time David Dunn, who leaves Ewood Park this summer, is included in the XI and given the captain's armband. Ex-Blue Jordan Rhodes starts, but Paul Taylor is ineligible as he is still technically a Town player. The Blues need a point to confirm a place in the play-offs for the first time in a decade, but they could still make it if two of the games involving Derby, Brentford and Wolves go in their favour. Blackburn: Raya, Henley, Lenihan, Spurr, Olsson, Conway, Evans, Williamson, Dunn (c), Rhodes, Gestede. Subs: Eastwood, King, Brown, Cairney, Marshall, O'Sullivan, Nyambe. Town: Bialkowski, Chambers (c), Berra, Smith, Mings, Skuse, Parr, Bishop, Tabb, Sears, Murphy. Subs: Gerken, Anderson, S Hunt, N Hunt, Fryers, Chaplow, Bru. Referee: Graham Scott (Oxfordshire).
