Berra in Scotland Squad

Town centre-half Christophe Berra has been named in the Scotland squad for their friendly against Qatar and Euro 2016 qualifier with the Republic of Ireland next month.

Berra, who will be suspended for the Blues’ opening game of 2015/16 following Saturday’s red card, has previously won 29 full caps, scoring three goals.

The Scots face the Qataris for the Qatar Airways Cup at Easter Road, Edinburgh - Berra's home town - on Friday 5th June before taking on the Republic of Ireland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday 13th June. Blues strikers Daryl Murphy and David McGoldrick have already been named in the provisional Irish squad for that game.

Russell Martin is nowhere near his standard he got bullied by Murphy in both games and panicked so often.

That team of the year was quite amusing really.
