Town’s U18s were beaten 3-1 by their Colchester United counterparts at Playford Road this morning, midfielder James Blanchfield netting the Blues’ goal.

The U18s have now lost four games on the trot. The Blues’ U16s beat the U’s 2-1.

U18s: Wright, Meldrum, Salaudeen, Woolfenden (Fullwood 83), Daly, C Smith, Blanchfield (Muamba 70), Maynard, Jones, Morris, McKendry (Bombalenga 25). Unused: Hayes, Cathline.
