Ramadan Nets on Bury Town Debut
Sunday, 22nd Nov 2015 11:46

Blues youngster Cemal Ramadan came off the bench and scored a debut winner as he started a loan spell with Ryman League Division One North Bury Town as they won 1-0 away at Waltham Abbey on Saturday.

Irish U18 international striker Ramadan came off the bench in the 27th minute and flicked home his goal following a corner just before half-time.

The 18-year-old Enfield-born frontman is a third-year scholar with the Blues. He is on a work experience loan at Ram Meadow with no set end date and potentially could stay for the remainder of the season.

Meanwhile, Town defender Josh Yorwerth played the full 90 minutes and picked up a yellow card as his loan club Crawley Town beat Bristol Rovers 2-1 at home.

Elsewhere in League Two, Matt Clarke was an unused sub as his loan side Portsmouth drew 2-2 at Carlisle.

Ex-Blues academy striker Caolan Lavery - who is on loan at Pompey from Sheffield Wednesday - netted the first Portsmouth goal.

Town winger Cameron Stewart came off the bench in the 87th minute as Doncaster lost 2-0 at home to Rochdale in League One.
