Pitman, Douglas and Hyam Start Against Hull
Tuesday, 23rd Feb 2016 19:05

Town boss Mick McCarthy has made three changes for tonight’s home game against Championship leaders Hull City with top scorer Brett Pitman, Jonathan Douglas and Luke Hyam all coming into the starting line-up.

Kevin Bru and Kevin Foley both drop to the bench, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles isn’t in the 18.

Douglas returns after a three-match ban and Hyam from a calf injury which has sidelined him for the last two games.

Hull make nine changes from the team which drew 0-0 at Arsenal in the FA Cup on Saturday with only Curtis Davies and David Meyler keeping their places.

Town: Bialkowski, Chambers (c), Smith, Berra, Knudsen, Douglas, Hyam, Pringle, Sears, Pitman, Murphy. Subs: Gerken, Digby, Foley, Tabb, Bru, Touré, Varney.

Hull City: McGregor, Odubajo, Dawson (c), Davies, Robertson, Snodgrass, Meyler, Livermore, Clucas, Diamé, Hernández. Subs: Jakupović, Huddlestone, Maguire, Maloney, Akpom, Powell, Elmohamady.

Hyam/Douglas - hardly gets the pulses racing in midfield, Pittman automatic start in my opinion now. Come on boys a good performance as a minimum but ideally 3 points too!
