Brown Waiting for Outcome
Brown Waiting for Outcome

Wayne Brown says he thinks Town will wait until their fate is settled before deciding whether to let him move on or not. The defender feels that the Blues may not think he's good enough for the Premiership, but will look to him if they go down.

The currently injured central defender said: "Maybe Ipswich think I can't do it in the Premiership. But if they do go down there will be changes in personnel because they have to balance the books.

"I hope they do stay up but I have to look at my situation. I've seen what the First Division is like and it's a completely different kettle of fish.

"Maybe my first-team opportunities would be greater if they went down. I just want my future settled because I've fallen flat on my face trying to move."

Brown ended a highly successful loan spell at Watford late last month and manager Gianluca Vialli has said he would like Brown to become a permanent fixture at Vicarage Road.
