Berra in Scotland Squad
Monday, 13th Mar 2017 09:55

Town centre-half Christophe Berra has been named in the Scotland squad for their friendly with Canada and World Cup qualifier against Slovenia later this month.

The Scots take on the Canadians at Easter Road on Wednesday 22nd March and then the Slovenians four days later at Hampden Park.

Berra, 32, has previously won 34 full caps and has scored three international goals.

Former Town striker Jordan Rhodes and ex-loanee Ryan Fraser are also included in Gordon Strachan's squad.

Shows how desperately poor the Scotland team is right now.

Not sure it does any player any good, these days playing international games.. Should have qualifying games over one fortnightly period, and be done with it
