What have they done in football management? Would be worse than Mick.

Nothing could be worse than Muck at the moment.

There are a few individuals who post on here, that just can't bear to see a former players name mentioned without suggesting they should be our next manager.
Things are not good at the moment, and I suspect they're about to get a lot worse, with a ludicrous 'spin' from those upstairs who like to think we're all idiots.
Let's not compound their opinion of us by suggesting that someone with no management experience at all, and someone who has a long track record of mainly failure as a manager would be a good move.
They were fantastic players for us a long time ago. Let's enjoy the memory and leave it at that.

You've got to admit NBVJohn the thought of Muhren and Thissen teaming up as a management duo would be rather appealing and get the fans flooding back. Their contacts in Scandinavia would also be a bonus, as would their attitude in how football should be played, with a ball, on the grass.

Cloddy - George Burley was excellent, and Jim Magilton wasn't given as much time as his early team building efforts (before the initial ME cash injection) deserved.

My point is, if the credentials are right, and he's a former player, I don't have an objection, but whenever this site mentions a former player, and someone suggests he'd be a great manager for us, it's simply ridiculous. Where does it end? Graham Harbey?

If John McGreal proves himself at Colchester, fine for me.
