Season Ticket Sales Up Seven Per Cent as Early Bird Deadline Extended to Wednesday
Monday, 30th Apr 2018 13:30

Town have revealed that season ticket sales are up seven per cent on the same point last summer and that with phone lines having been busy ahead of this lunchtime’s midday deadline, the early bird price will remain available until noon on Wednesday.

The Blues ticket office received more than 150 calls in three hours this morning with prices set to rise significantly after the deadline. An adult lower tier seat, for example, costing £381 will be £163 more expensive post-early bird.

Town, who dropped prices by 10 per cent across the board for 2018/19, say they have sold more than 10,000 seats with cancellations 50 per cent down on a year ago.

“The uptake has been very encouraging and obviously we are delighted,” managing director Ian Milne told the club site."

"“There is a positive feeling about the club and I think that is shown with the increase in season ticket sales.""“We are going into an exciting new era for everyone involved with Ipswich Town, particularly the supporters.”

Season tickets can be purchased at Planet Blue, by phone on 03330 050503 or online from ITFC Direct.

Dissboy are they the opposite to the "true fans who used to wish Micks teams lose so they could add wood to the fire of the Mick out Boo boys"
Incidentally to you and your pal Bluebore as stated many times before i have supported town through good bad and indifferent since 1975 so whoever the manager is they get my support.Contrary to you distorted views i have never wished to see my team lose whats the point of having a season ticket.

Bluebore don't change words to suit your lopsided view of facts down means you don't agree Up means you agree.
As i usually don't agree with your lopsided view of things i press down simple .
This must be the third time i've explained this to you either you don't understand or you don't want to i suspect it is the latter, good day.

Swn98 - it's a question of who owns the brain cell - and interpretation of words. One thing I do know is you, or your confederates, are not required to educate me.

Mensa test anytime ? - before you become too cheeky. You are the most NEGATIVE posters this site has ever had.

Your 'mate' Mick has gone - get it into the head - and STOP wingeing about it.

Unfortunately Bluebore you can't accept i dont care who manages the team IT'S THE CLUB I SUPPORT.
As an aside you never did answer my question if you are so confident that your facts you so regularly tell us are the truth why you never present them on the forum? for dare i say more robust debate.

SWN98... nowhere in my original post did i suggest you are one of those supporters who wants our team to lose! I dont doubt your dedication or support but there are those who will want to see the team slide and you know it!

I think the reduction in price has had very little to do with ticket sales, had McCarthy remained in charge i doubt a 50% reduction would have persuaded the fans to come back or stay!
