Will someone in the press have the cajones to ask PH why the best keeper in the Championsip is sitting on the bench. What is his thinking behind playing Pennington at right back instead of in the centre in place of the calamitous Nsiala, and Donacien who looked half decent at right back putting in one or two good crosses, yet totally out of it on the left. Knudsen is an international left back but cannot get in the side because of a League 2 full back out of position. Unbelievable. Please guys ask the questions we all want the answers to.

muhrensleftfoot ...... there can only be one answer - Hurst hasn't a clue in what he's doing.

No logical reason could ever be given by him, or anyone else, for such craziness in team selection.

Uhave to say I don't care what is now said........ I can talk about football all day but I can't run a Championship football club.

We need Burley and Butcher or someone who can keep us in the Championship.
We are back to the same place when Mick walked through the door except we have a manager who is out of his depth.

What gems of wisdom will we hear I wonder. Which qualify player will he now drop for another of his league 2 misfits? what other positions can he fill with players out of position ? What other cunning tactics can he employ to make us even more inept than in previous games. I can't wait !

Also ask him - Does he think he's fortunate to still be our manager considering we are in a results business and he is not delivering?

Please just sack him already, ok he has 3 year contract to pay off but we stand to loose a lot more in relegation.

Questions to ask Mr Hurst;

1) Please explain why the club's best player (Bart) for the past three seasons and arguably one of the best goalkeepers in the league plus a goalkeeper who went to the World Cup 2018, currently finds himself sitting on the bench.

2) Please explain why an international full-back who went to the World Cup 2018 currently finds himself on the bench.

3) Please explain why you continue to persist with a formation of playing 1 up front, which clearly is not working.

4) Please explain the training regime that occurs during international breaks as both matches that have followed these international breaks the team has played sh**e.

5) Please explain the fitness regime as the team looks jaded. Where is this fit, hardworking team that was promised at the start of the season?

I could go on.......

It would be encouraging to hear one of the journalist challenge Hurst with one of the questions above. I'm tired of hearing questions that attempt 'big up' the person asking them and invariably include the answer. So cosy.

How come our young talent are doing well as a team on all levels , individually being sort after, doing well internationally, but still can't get still have to come behind under performing div 1 and 2 level players who are not producing any results worth putting faith in.
First neg comment this season.
Just frustrated.
Albert Einstein is broadly credited with exclaiming “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results”.
Maybe PH should come out and say something like.....
I thought to come in and change everything, and I've got it wrong. Give me time, I am going to rip it up again and feed club up from inside, it's going to be painful, but in 18 months time with youngsters having the experience we are going to be fantastic.
I'd be with him on that.
Just a ramble, that's all.☺

Why all the down arrows?? Come on then tony88.. your very quick to hit the down arrow to fans who clearly care and love ITFC yet say F all on here!! You happy with Wurst are you? The man is clueless and so is our owner! This club is going downhill at a hell of a rate and I can't understand the easy ride Evans is getting! 13 games.. 9 points.. a Sunday league manager couldn't do no worse!

Felstow 1978 (and your mate) - even if they are “Canary tossers” (which they are not) I bloody well agree with them!

Press conference - a means of escaping with a little dignity! Why sack an international goalkeeper in the dressing room prior to kick-off!!!!!!!

......... everyone knows, and accepted from the beginning that Hurst would not hit the ground running - however, 13 games in and we perform like we did against QPR ...... ??

It was like a non league side playing, against very inferior opposition - and we manage just ONE shot.

As someone has already pointed out - there are many local Sunday League Managers who could have walked in at Saturday lunchtime wearing a pair of wellies, and done a better job than Hurst did.
No disrespect intended to Sunday Football - just making the point.

......... well, after Hurst everyone will justifiably have forgotten the John Duncan era, which was somewhat impressive in comparison.

That's clearly the monkey off JD's back forever.

I have finally had enough and feel I need to express my feelings.

I was a long term season ticket holder and unfortunately had to give it up due to work commitments a few years ago.. I have to say in some ways I am glad. I look back at that time in my life with fond memories as it was on of the few things I did with my family. Portman Road was a wonderful place to go, the team played football and the club looked to invest in the future by bringing through youth players and investing in sensible players that were needed at the time. Unfortunately I now look at this once great club and feel sad. I visited Ipswich for the first time in a long time the other day and went to our new pop up shop. The first thing that struck me was our new shirt and logo. This is in my eyes is where the problems start and finish. Ipswich is no longer a club. We are a business and a poorly run one at that. I can only imagine what certain previous members of our once great club would think to our "tacky" and appalling shirts. The only saving grace is the EACH logo on the youth shirts. Marcus Evans I am sorry to say has lived up to everything any true fan knew he would be. A man with no face and who would use this club as a name to try to improve his other businesses and to ease some other issues on some of his other interests. This is stripping this great club of its heritage, fans and respect that we once had. We are becoming a laughing stock and with the current playing staff deserve to be relegated. I admire him for giving Paul Hurst a chance but he was never going to do anything with what he has to work with. He clearly is uninterested and does not know what to do. I don't feel this reflects him as a manager in general but I just think Ipswich is a problem too far for him or indeed anyone with current upper management.

I will finish by saying unless the club and management start to believe and trust in our future talent instead of trying to bring back injured/previous players then we deserve what we are getting currently and it is time for us a Ipswich Town fans to take a stand and claim back our club. How we do this I don't know but it is a very sad state of affairs currently.

Marcus Evans, get your backside up there with Hurst and show some respect for us fans. Your appointment, your tenure as owner of Our Club. Or are you enjoying watching your beloved team more... in your plush seat at Stamford Bridge?
