Accrington Cup Tie Ticket Prices Confirmed
Tuesday, 11th Dec 2018 14:45

Ticket prices for Town’s FA Cup third round tie at Accrington Stanley on Saturday 5th January have been confirmed (KO 3pm).

Adult tickets for the first competitive fixture between the two clubs will cost £20, senior citizens aged 65-plus will be charged £15, under-18s £10 and under-12s £5.

Tickets go on sale to Gold Card members from Thursday and will be on general sale on Wednesday 19th December.

Town have been given an initial allocation of 1,500 split between terracing and seating by the League One club but this may be increased.

Stanley's supporter liaison officer has started a thread on the TWTD Forum where he is answering questions relating to the game.

For all the talk of Two heading for league 1, will be interesting to see how we perform against a mid-table league 1 side? For as much as you can read in to a cup game of course?

Not sure I'd describe £20 as rip-off prices, especially considering that for smaller clubs the FA Cup is a vital source of income. Assuming a comfortable away win, this could be Accrington's biggest game of the season!
