Wright Signs New Deal
Thursday, 20th Dec 2018 17:04

Keeper Harry Wright has put pen to paper on a new two-and-a-half-year deal with the Blues.

Wright, 20, the son of former Town keeper Richard, has signed a contract which runs until 2021 with club having an option for a further year.

"I'm over the moon," Wright, who is yet to make a senior appearance, told the club site.

"I've worked really hard for this and it's good to know that my future is with this club."

Wright spent time with the Blues academy and in Manchester City's youth set-up as a youngster.

Harry is a bit like Pickford, our national keeper, a good shot stopper, comfortable with the ball at his feet, hence a good pass, either short or long.
Could do with growing a few inches in height and bulking up a bit to combat the aerial presence of those big, hard front runners, one of which Town dearly needs?
By the way, congratulations on getting a new contract, onwards and upwards, in both senses of the word.
