Nydam in U23s at Cardiff
Monday, 14th Jan 2019 11:52

Tristan Nydam is the most experienced player in the U23s side facing Cardiff City at the Cardiff City Stadium this afternoon (KO 12pm).

The 19-year-old midfielder recently returned from his loan spell at St Johnstone but seems likely to be sent out to another club for a further stint in the second half of the season.

Town’s U23s, who are coached by Gerard Nash and Chris Hogg, remain top of the Professional Development Two South table.

U23s: Wright, Cotter, Clements, Marshall, Ndaba, McGavin, Nydam, McLoughlin, Drinan, Folami, Morris. Subs: Egan, El Mizouni, Dobra, K Brown, Crowe.

Cant see Kenlock or Dozzell starting against Blackburn, can see Dozzell going out on loan to get game time. As for Kenlock bench warmer at best. Why drop Elder, he didn't do a lot wrong Saturday and worked well with Sears down the left.

Does anyone know what has happened to Chris Smith? He was close the first team under Klugg and was U23 captain but now does not even appear in the U23 squad.
