Lambert: Time is Pressing On, We Have to Start Winning Games Tuesday, 22nd Jan 2019 13:13 Boss Paul Lambert admits the Blues have to start winning games soon with the season pressing on and Town bottom of the table, seven points plus goal difference from safety. The Blues, who have 18 games in which to save their Championship status, were beaten 2-0 at Lambert’s former club Blackburn on Saturday and face another of his previous sides Aston Villa at Villa Park at the weekend. “Football can kick you in the teeth when you are down like it did at Blackburn at the weekend,” he told the club site. “That’s the game though. You can’t get too high or too low. You just have to go again and we will be doing that in training this week and on Saturday. “The games are coming thick and fast and time is pressing on. We are trying everything we can to turn it around here but we have to start winning games. “One hundred per cent we have to do that. We have to keep everyone onside and do everything we can to build up some momentum."
