U18s in Play-Off Action Against Owls
Friday, 26th Apr 2019 12:19

Town’s U18s are in play-off semi-final action against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Saturday morning (KO 11am).

The young Blues, who are coached by Adem Atay and Kieron Dyer, finished second in Professional Development League Two South, while the Owls topped the North division. Cardiff, winners of the South section, host Leeds, second in the North, in the other semi-final.

“We’ve had a successful season, we’ve hopefully still got a couple of play-off games to play to win the whole thing, so things are going well,” Dyer said in an interview with BBC Radio Suffolk’s Life’s a Pitch (45mins 24secs) on Monday.

The U23s, who won their division, are in action against Birmingham City in their play-off semi-final at Portman Road on Tuesday.

Best of luck to both the u18's and u23's. I will be watching the u18's play tomorrow morning before going off to the first team match in the evening. Let's all get behind our young Blues. Our academy looks in a very good place at the moment let's hope we can continue to develop players into our first team.

Good luck to both U18 and U23 teams in their playoff games. Time for both teams to have their best players available to them.
This time the First team management/coaching staff should take a back seat, you have failed.
The management and coaching staff of these two sides have earned the right to have their best sides available to them. Good luck to both.
