Vincent-Young Misses Out on Award Friday, 11th Oct 2019 09:47 Town right-back Kane Vincent-Young has missed out on winning the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award to Bristol Rovers striker Jonson Clarke-Harris. The Pirates’ frontman grabbed five goals during September, including an overhead kick against Accrington. Also nominated were Peterborough striker Mo Eisa and Oxford United wideman James Henry. Yesterday, Vincent-Young was confirmed as the winner of the PFA Fans’ League One Player of the Month award for September. Surprisingly, with the Blues top of the table having won three and drawn one League One games during September, Town boss Paul Lambert wasn’t nominated for the Manager of the Month gong, which he won in August. This month it went to Fleetwood’s Joey Barton.
