Lambert: Strong Chemistry Between Strike Pair

Blues boss Paul Lambert says there’s a strong chemistry between strike pair James Norwood and Kayden Jackson, the duo having netted seven goals each already this season.
“I think the two of them are really on top of their game and they look a threat every time they go forward,” Lambert said.
“I think they’ve got a good understanding and they’ve got a good chemistry between the two of them with the way they play.
“The two of them are really, really good and Will Keane is ready there as well, so once Will gets a bit fitter he’ll add more firepower to that as well, but the two of them when they play together are really a handful.
“Norwood does a lot of the hard work with the knocks and all that, but the lad is a goalscorer, that’s for sure.
“I think he’s looked sharp since the start of the season and the chemistry between the two of them is really, really strong and the two of them at this moment are playing really well.
Is there keen competition between the duo to be the club’s top scorer this season? “I don’t know, you’d need to ask them that. I’m not so sure if there’s a competition between the two of them, but it’s a healthy thing that the two of them are scoring.”
