Having just watched the highlights( so called ) , I am amazed how the second goal came about ! Whether in defence or attack you should instinctively .after playing and being educated in any team ball game , understand that the place most likely to bring about ‘disaster ‘ is if the ball is put into the centre of the pitch or melee of players .
What was Ward ( ?) doing with that ungainly unintelligent uncontrolled strike which saw the ball go across our goal ? This is a prime example of the thoughtlessness and technical shortfalls that infest our play ; it's up to PL to totally eliminate and get as near the 100% focus and concentration / awareness as possible ,and its certainly what we expect .
It's quite simple : put it right – somehow !
By the by I've wondered if perhaps the state of our pitches might possibly be leading to the mass of injuries, especially the hamstrings ,but visually Portman Road looks a good clean and appropriately firm surface .
Sort it PL and Co ; I can't think of any proper excuse for professional inadequacies or lack of awareness which we suffer far too often – unless our squad is lacking in intelligence .

While we are presently affected by a large number of injuries basic defending could have prevented both goals. While playing out from the back is nice to watch it often leads to disasters. In important games I would much rather see us quickly getting the ball out of our box area.
