![]() Tuesday, 15th Oct 2002 14:35 Two outsiders have ruled themselves out of the running to become Burley's replacement as manager of Ipswich Town. Former Town midfielders Arnold Muhren and Steve Whitton have both said they aren't interested in the job, the latter feeling that he isn't qualified: "I think the job will go to someone with a lot of experience, a lot more than I have at the moment." Brian Talbot hasn't ruled himself out though. When speaking to the Rushden and Diamonds official website, he said: "I can't stop speculation and people have already asked me when I am coming back. However that is not my decision - it's up to the board of directors at Portman Road. "It's up to the board who they want to appoint and interview, but, at this moment in time, I am doing a job at Rushden & Diamonds - and I am very happy to do that."
