It seems we now have the right players in the right positions, playing in a style which suits them, which enables us to overcome opposition teams who have large portions of the game in possession and show intent. Even though it looked like we were under the cosh from Burton pressure on more than one occasion, we now have the players and the ability to turn a game and a result in our favour at any moment.

We haven't had that in a long time.

Dodgy back passes always set my teeth on edge but Walton seemed to be alive to the danger and made some good saves and narrowed the angles effectively.

Yes, we rode our luck a bit, but every team needs that bit of luck over the course of a full season to tip the balance in their favour and I'm hoping, finally, that this may just be the case for us this time around.

Early doors I know but, so far, all bodes well.
