Plymouth are showing the benefits of winning home matches. Unfortunately, we have dropped too many points at home and against mid/lower table teams such as Lincoln and Fleetwood.

You are forgetting Plymouth have many top loan players and they could be recalled in January.

Best team in the league according to most pundits. A good squad. Plenty of money. Teams come to us and shut up shop looking for a point. We're likely to add quality to an already excellent squad. We dominate all stats in virtually every game. We're 2nd in the table. We're 7 points off the top. We still have to play a home game against the team above us. Now, take a look at the top of the premiership…….need I say more??!

BOO BOYS ? nobody is booing , but some myself included can see we clearly are not going as smoothly as Plymouth or Wednesday , come to expect them to win but its not the same with us we,ve played well but but failed to get valuable points . And yes I also think it could see us slipping down to playoffs WE NEED TO BE DOING BETTER. That is a fact regardless of our current 2nd place . COYB

All we can do is attempt to do the best we can, if it isn't good enough to be in the top 2 because the other teams won more games then credit to them. We have still come along way and it may not happen this season for us. Sure, the effort has been there, but some of our players have never been fighting top 2 before and I wonder if they can handle it. I'm not a happy clapper, I not only want promotion, but to be Champions! But after an 11th place finish last season, we still have some improving to do to turns draws into wins. McKenna said we need to improve for the 2nd half of the season, so hopefully they have their transfer targets in sight and get the squad to push on. COYB

Shows what a difference 3-4 wins on the spin can do in this league. We need to do just this, I am fearful we will bottle it in a two horse race, however many points to play for and twists and turns to come, we need a 4 or 5 nil to get is going, we haven't yet done this and are quite capable, I'll take it tomorrow as travelling ! 🫣

Fans are just too panicky. If we were in Argyle's position instead of 'enjoying' it we'd be worried that we were getting good results without really dominating performances. It is actually much more meaningful to listen to what other team's fans and manager's say about us and they usually put us as the best team they've played. We need to celebrate the vast improvements we are making than getting flipsy about Plymouth winning.

If we're going to have a dip in form, upto Christmas is probably the best time to learn from it, strengthen in Jan & build momentum for the remainder of the season. Others around us will loose their nerves and feel out of depth. This isn't the first time we've done this & those players that have previously missed out will not want this to happen again. We've got this! Keep the faith.

We need a striker as ladapo and Jackson are simply not up to it !! Get one in , and cut out the silly defensive lapses and we'll be in the mix !! Right now Plymouth look certs and Wednesday look good , but barnsley are starting to worry me !!!!!!!!

Hope the players are more up for it than some on here lol. Keep the faith, what will be will be, but above all else, enjoy the ride! Perspective is - we are in the pack for auto promotion!

Jeez fellas.. chill the beans.. Plymouth have to play all the following AWAY as yet.. us, Sw, Bolton, Barnsley & Pboro.. It just happens that they have played all the top teams at home so far. If they are still there after this then they deserve to be.. but I suspect they won't be!!

Plymouth have had a great run, especially at home, but with 20+ games still to play there us no guarantee they will finish in the top two. I bet their own fans don't think it is done and dusted. We are playing the best football we have seen for many years so why not enjoy it? KM has said we will try to strengthen in Jan where possible and we are in a great position to continue to challenge for promotion with the players we already have whether we win, lose or draw today. Keep the faith!

Happy clapping got us in this division and still they seem to be the same. We simply need to go up. This isn't good enough. Plymouth, Wednesday and even Barnsley look a far better bet right now.

All the morons are on here. What a surprise. NOT. Even if we were to lose today, it means nothing at this stage of the season. There's a long way to go. At some point.t both Plymouth and weds are gonna have a blip, and we'll likely pick up points on both of them
blues1 added 10:13 - Jan 2
If anyone really thought there wouldn't be a time where we didn't drop a few points, or that plymouth and weds won't too, then clearly don't know how football works. Time to worry will be if we're at a point where we literally have to win games or it's over. We're nowhere near at that stage.

Problem seems to stem from every team we play is a good team. Plymouth obviously don't look at each game as such. Again Lincoln are an average team. And again a must win IMO.
Nomore4 added 11:00 - Jan 2
Got slated on here for calling Oxford average pre game. We went onto win 3.0. They went into their next game losing at home to Exeter. So hopefully people can now see between good and average. Only max 6 good teams in this league. And thus far we've struggled to get points from any of them.
Saxonblue74 added 11:00 - Jan 2
Nomore4, yes Lincoln are an average team but they're yet to lose a league game at home this season. I'd say KmK's description as "stubborn" is accurate
Linkboy13 added 11:08 - Jan 2
Even with my blue tinted glasses on we are still seven points adrift. It's getting to a stage of if we do this if we do that scenario. We went to Portsmouth and got a point and people were celebrating as though it was a great result when they hadn't won in eight games. Money doesn't always buy success hard work and graft is required as well. Perhaps we should go to Plymouth and buy their best players. We need to win today other wise it will be why are people moaning we are third in the league.

For me Collins from Bristol Rovers and Whittaker from Plymouth/Swansea are a must plus another CD.
Nomore4 added 11:36 - Jan 2
Yes Saxon agree. You only have to look at there better results. Drawing games against Plymouth and Weds. Beating Barnsley. This was all early doors in the season. Around the time we couldn't beat Fleetwood and Cheltenham at home. We now enter the business end of the season and the 2nd round of matches. Now beating the likes of Fleetwood, Cheltenham and Lincoln is a must. As the current table suggests just average L1 teams.
