Ten-Man U21s Beaten By Bournemouth
Monday, 4th Nov 2024 21:16

A 10-man Town U21s side were beaten 2-1 by AFC Bournemouth at Portman Road this evening.

Jonny Stuttle put the Cherries, who are coached by former Blues academy striker Alan Connell, in front in the 35th and Toure Williams made it 2-0 on 54.

Rio Oudnie-Morgan pulled a goal back just after the hour mark but Town were unable to find a leveller with their cause not helped by skipper Jacob Mazionis seeing red for a second bookable offence with nine minutes remaining.

Town: Slicker, Agbaje (Jambang 46), Lewis, Mazionis (c), O’Connor, Turner (Nwabueze 76), Mendel-Idowu, Okunowo, Boatswain (T Taylor 62), Roberts (O Davis 62), Oudnie-Morgan. Unused: Fleischer.
