Humphreys Nets Winner For Wycombe Saturday, 29th Mar 2025 19:24 On-loan Blues midfielder Cameron Humphreys netted his seventh goal for Wycombe Wanderers to see the Chairboys to a 1-0 League One victory over Lincoln City at Adams Park this afternoon.
The win against the Imps, who were reduced to 10 men in injury time, kept the Buckinghamshire side three points behind second-placed Wrexham with a game in hand on the Welsh club and with a superior goal difference.

Looks like he's grown and filled out a bit since last season, could well be a key player for us next season.

Just what I was thinking @Gforce

Left side of the double pivot should be his next season as we won't have Phillips, Cajuste or probably Mass. Taylor hasn't lived up to expectations either.

Career progressing in the right way if relegated I think he will be in squad, stay up and another loan but in Championship I guess. Well taken goal

If (when?) relegated I'm sure that Humphreys will feature next season, along with Elkan Baggott perhaps.

Just goes to show the Coaching/ Management team at ITFC know exactly what they’re doing and how to educate and develop promising young talent. Both Baggot and Humphrey’s are likely to be a significant part of the ITFC future, unless injury intervenes . COYB

Hopefully will be a significant cog in next season's promotion push.

Always been an admirer of Humphreys a player with a good range of passes and a good finisher but needed to be more vocal on the pitch quite a shy lad. His loan at Wycombe and game time has brought him out of his shell. If he returned to Portman road would he get the game time he is getting at Wycombe im not sure. In the case of Baggott i don't think he is living up to the hype given him by some on here he has yet to complete a full season in league one yet and will return to league one next season on loan.
