I like debating our strengths and weaknesses but bottom line is that transfer window didn't change anything in our odds for the title so the bookies at least feel we are no stronger or weaker. I realise many/most will disagree but its a statement of fact not opinion. We are title favourites and a par performance will deliver that. Another shot at the Prem is likely next season

That squad iseems to be crying out for 3 in midfield and lose the double pivot. Jens, Jack, Cameron, even Nunez would all thrive with more freedom to get forward. Cameron will be a star, but not for us. Our two was massively over run at times last season, and so far this season too. We have some wonderful number 8’s. Water water .., everywhere .., but not a drop to drink.

West Sussex Blue, Wes won't be near first choice, I think McAteer will be, hopefully with Wes as deputy. It really depends on where Sindre fits in. I do fear, however, that Wes may have left like Chaplin did had he been fit....

Good squad for sure, but can McKenna identify his strongest 11 and stick with it for a run of games, or is he still intent on playing players out of THEIR most effective position for the sake of a formation / tactics? We shall see what hes learned from the last 12 months. Im crossing my fingers....

That is one very strong squad, just a weakness at left back only ( not a fan of the " can play there " theories, square pegs in square holes please ). And I also agree ( shock horror! ) with darkhorse28, three midfielders and dump the double pivot, just another load of modern day jargon ( like the " low block " which really means playing defensively! ). If this squad can't gain promotion at the first time of asking, something will have gone seriously wrong somewhere!

Our Norwegian gem looks very good tonight. Can't wait to see him in blue.

If I’m being picky. Missing a 6ft 2 plus robust, no messing striker

Isn't that meant to be Akpom?
