![]() Tuesday, 7th Sep 2004 10:49 Town central defender Jason De Vos will miss Canada's World Cup qualifier against Costa Rica on Wednesday after picking up his second booking of the campaign in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Honduras. The 30-year-old was previously carded in the previous round against Belize. Coach Frank Yallop has called up several players to his squad for the game in San Jose due to De Vos's suspension and a number of injuries. Recent Town trialist Jaime Peters is in the squad and made his second full international appearance as a sub in the Honduras match. Peters, who Town are keen to sign, came on as a half-time sub but was himself replaced on 73. The 17-year-old winger, highly rated by Yallop, has also had trials with Manchester United, Derby and Millwall and is considering his future, having left German club Kaiserslautern's youth system earlier in the summer.
