![]() Tuesday, 21st Jun 2005 12:19 Striker Shefki Kuqi is reported to be on the verge of signing a deal with Premiership Blackburn Rovers. The out-of-contract frontman told the Blues last week that he would not be remaining at Portman Road, Town subsequently withdrawing the offer of a new two-year deal. Kuqi, who was previously on trial at Ewood Park two years ago, had also interested relegated Crystal Palace. Meanwhile, Town target Mo Camara is reported to be at Celtic today and close to joining the Glasgow giants on a free Bosman transfer. The Guinean international, who rejected a new contract with Burnley, had been earmarked to fill Town's troublesome left-back spot but boss Joe Royle will now have to extend his search.
