 Monday, 11th Dec 2000 11:05 Former Town star Steve Sedgley will be readying himself for a great wodge of cash today as Wolves prepare to pay him off. Always a fan of large amounts of money, Sedgley has had all links with the Midlands club severed as he recovers from a knee injury. The former Coventry and Spurs midfielder or defender had just this season left on his contract. Sedgley joined Wolves in July 1997 after turning down what was then the most lucrative contract ever offered by the Blues. He cost Wolves £500,000 plus Mark Venus. Hmm, I wonder who is most chuffed with the deal now...
