![]() Wednesday, 9th Aug 2006 12:33 Chief executive Derek Bowden says that the Blues are yet to received a formal bid from Brighton for striker Sam Parkin. Seagulls boss Mark McGhee declared their interest in the 25-year-old yesterday. Bowden said: "There has been an enquiry from Brighton about Parkin but no offer. We are under no pressure to sell and would probably not be interested in a player swap but rather a cash deal if a club came up with the right offer." Last week Coventry had a bid of a reported £100,000 rising to £200,000 turned down, Sky Blues boss Micky Adams subsequently declaring that he had ended his interest.
