Town spent £233,990 on agents’ fees in the year to June 30th 2012, compared with £376,352 in the previous year, the Football League's Agents' Fees Report has revealed. The Blues’ spending was the sixth lowest in the Championship.

Former Blues full-back Callum Bennett is on trial at Doncaster Rovers. Last season’s U18s captain, who has previously been offered terms by Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest, was in action as Rovers lost a pre-season friendly 4-0 at Gainsborough Trinity last night.
