Colchester United are understood to be the club which midfielder Owen Garvan opted against joining on loan a fortnight ago, while Huddersfield United are also believed to be interested in the Republic of Ireland U21 skipper. Garvan is currently out of Roy Keane’s plans at Portman Road.
