Town will not have advertising on their shorts during 2005/06, however this could change in future seasons. Changes to Football League rules last season allow clubs to sell smaller adverts on their kit in addition to their main sponsors.

Preston North End are interested in signing former Blue James Scowcroft, according to a source close to the player. Yesterday the Lancashire press claimed Burnley were favourites to sign the 29-year-old frontman but they face opposition from one of their local rivals.
