The Blues went behind to a Shaun Goater goal in a first half where Town were rarely on top. Matt Holland scored the equaliser in the 58th minute and Mark Venus coolly put the winner past Nicky Weaver in extra-time. |

Burley's McKenna Interest Mon 04th Dec 2000 11:11 Town are being linked with Preston midfield player Paul McKenna. The 23-year-old Englishman is apparently being watched by loads of Premiership clubs and Town are among them. He has scored five goals in 73 starts for David Moyes' side and so doesn't sound like the attacking midfielder George Burley has been after so far this season. |

The hard-as-nails frontman injured the leg in the match against Middlesbrough and subsequently played an hour of the match with Newcastle and the last 13 minutes of the Charlton game. |
