Couldn't be there, didn't want to be there, won't be there until they're (DINO & CO) are not there.

Great atmosphere, good start and a decent first half performance. Knudsen's effort inside the first few mins that came out off the post stunned up the game really. Things didn't really do our way, were didn't get the luck we needed and it was overall a host of if onlys and maybes. Some of pure breezy players of late, Spence, Waghorn and McGoldrick to name a few, were disappointing. Waghorn had the work ethic but nothing was coming off for him, and some of his set pieces early on were dreadful. I think McGoldrick was trying to impress Martin O'Neill, the Irish manager, but will be bitterly disappointed with himself. Never got in the game and work rate was our in large areas. Would of subbed him off personally. Spence was a liability today, his positional play was woeful and Chambers articles to clean up, with Wildschut and Maddison burning him for pace. I was surprised with Nydam's inclusion but I thought he was superb, and him and Skuse really displayed the positive derby day mentality, feisty but controlled. Celina showed promise when coming on as sub late in the day. Second half was same old Ipswich, long balls galore. A few glorious chances, some headed sitters put wide, and although it wasn't the worst performance, I too am bitterly disappointed with the result. Our derby drought continues...

Just want to add that referee was excellent, free flowing and just what you need for a derby.

Stats were not a fair reflection of the game this time round. If McGoldrick had connected properly with Spence' crosses on 2 separate occasions it could have been much closer. Norwich did deserve to win this one but not by the margin that these stats suggest. Every Norwich player wasn't better than every Ipswich player. Finishing really let Ipswich down and McGoldrick missed guilt edged chances. Norwich defence VERY solid but did look static in those two incidents. Norwich subs looked stronger and team looked as if they had a clear strategy. Ipswich do miss a big striker up front.

So Chambers and Scuse scored lower ratings than Jordan Spense. Really,,,,,I am sad to say that today Spense was a liability. Both Chambers and Scuse blocked shots and made very important tackles to get us out of trouble at different times. It gets a bit boring that the same players continually get slated whether they play well or not.
On the flip side of that I thought Knudsen and Nydam had good games and did not deserve to lose. It was also a bit ironic that we were caught on the break when it appeared this was our game plan with the way we were set up.

I wish some people would watch the whole game rather than just highlights prior to posting.

How Jordan Spence has scored as highly as he has is beyond me. He had a shocker. The fact that Bart is our man of the match when all he did was pick the ball out of the net, sums up the generally insipid display by the outfield players

Spence got 4.8 out of 10....in whose world is that a high rating? In fact, feel most of the Ipswich ratings are spot on. It's the Norwich ratings which are amiss. Vrancic came on in the 89th minute and got a 7.6? Hahaha....he must have played like Ronaldo for 5 minutes..
Hard to give anyone the MOM award, may as well give it to Bart. He didn't play badly (unlike the rest of the team). Feel supporters watch different games sometimes...thought Nydam was ineffective (and his marking was non-existent for the goal). Notice that Spence was 2 on 1 during that goal, who was meant to be the other marker??? Fans have praised Downes but I didn't see it. McGoldrick 2 awful misses so sounds about right.

These ratings were surely filled in by Norwich supporters Jerome 7.6 never in the Game Bart MOM didnt have anything to do in fact could of got closer to the ball when it went in.
MOM Knudsen Chambo put in his usual captains shift Adeyemi played well obviously still not fit Skuse was solid Nydam Sound and something to look forward too.
The Morale to this is how way down the list any of our strikers rated.

We lost but played well in 1st half just couldn't hit the target. Substitutions made too late, a few minutes after Norwich scored would have made more sense. However, the TWTD ratings of the players are totally inaccurate especially every Budgie at 7 & 8? Disappointed yes but Chambo made many last ditch clearances and tackles, surely 4.3 is out of order. Our worst player of the day was Spence 4.8 is a fair score. How did Celina (he wasn't on long enough and looked a threat) get 4.4? Overall, time for a change of management please.
