Time for Hurst to go back to previous save and this time keep the youngsters that he has loaned out. Remember they have been under the watchful eye of Klug for years.

The second match running that the ref was rated more than any of our players. Sad.

Always thought Freddie Sears would look good in a League One team and tonight proved me right.

Awful first half performance, the game dead after 16 minutes, too many passengers in the team.
There was no coming back from that start with Borough having only conceded 4 goals in all their previous games.
The second half was a far more watchable affair, no doubt Borough took their foot off the gas, but at lease we at last made their keeper and defence work, rather than just watch the game.
Plus points IMO Chalobah had a very good game, Sears, Edwards and at last the entrance of Dozzell made a big difference to the second half.

Interesting to note that, at the time of writing, the three top rated players are all those that were not brought in by Hurst.

Hurst still doesn't realise that his signings are worse than the players that have benn loaned out. He persists with one striker when it's clear that two are best. In the post match interview he was never challenged about his constant changes and why he loaned out better players than he's using. It's no wonder that Garner etc wanted to go faced with the prospect of playing for him.
We need Warburton to sort it out or even Burley but somehow I doubt anything will change until it's too late!
