Even with Chopra leaving i dont see how we have space for DJ. McG/Murphy/Nouble/Taylor is surely all we need for next season.
I doubt DJ will now get his previous wage. He's not likely to attract Premiership sides and he's now the wrong side of 30 and injury prone so if he does want to find a new club that is prepared to offer 3 years, then he'll have to lower his (and his agent's) demands. He'll be a good signing for someone IF he could reproduce the same goal stats he achieved at PR.
As for Yeats, he could be a good signing for us. Great free-kicks crosses etc and still under 30 |

This is my worry that insufficient funds will lead to MM becoming disenchanted and will result in his exit. I acnt believe that we're the only club affected by the FFP as other clubs seem to have more funds than Town!!

Too old at 31 get a life you lot!! If he's fit and affordable then his experience will be invaluable otherwise I'm sure MM will be looking elsewhere. There are some players at Bradford that look interesting ESP Wells so looking forward to MM getting his squad sorted sooner rather than later as that's where PJ went wrong.

Somehow i dont see what we can do other than watch from the sidelines and hope that the PL crashes when it gets out of control. Scudamore is just looking after his paymasters!
One thing i would like to see in the PL is banning all loans to other PL clubs as its just madness that those players can't then play against their home clubs i.e. a player can score against all the other teams but NOT his own. It's just crazy.
Also clubs like Chelsea sign up loads of players so that nobody else can have them and then loan them out. I think they had more loanees out than their own 25 squad. There should be a limit of how many they can have on their books. |

Tabb would be good signing as would Stearman. Drury for me doesnt cut it at this level, he does play ok at times but brings nothing more. I dont understand negative comments on Hyam as he just gets better and ha sbeen key player since MM took over. I think we could do bette rthat Ndaw and i expect him to want mor ethan we can afford.
If Murphy wants to stay then i see MM keeping him. Martin is a liability so his departure will allow MM to sign lefty with more to offer. |

Its looks like MM has laid down the gauntlet for these players i.e. show me you're worth new contract! I personally think that only one or two will still be here new season. MM will have pretty good idea what he wants at end of season so expect him to get in players quite early (unlike the last two muppets) so he's ready for new season. There's going to be lots of choice so like all good managers he'll be looking for best blend of youth/experience. But i bet they'll be taller/quicker/younger than we had at start of this season! |

Bearing in mind what Clegg has said and the state we're in following 3 poor managers, i think we can expect Mick or Davies or possibly Curbs. Most others mentioned so far have risks attached so i doubt Evans will be paying out for any more mistakes!
I dont think Curbs will be approached and somehow dont think Coyle will be thought of any better that Jewell so i think its a straight fight between davies and MMcM. Either one will be good for us in present state. |

Jewell has mismanaged the team with constant changes, poor tactics, namely one up front, playing tallest players out wide etc. Hutch could make his mark with using our resourses to best effect and playing the fittest team. He made hugh blunders last season signing too many old players that were never gonig to help stabilise the Team. So he nows finds himself panicing with loanees in th ehope that they will get up the division. Well Mr Jewell your plan is flawed because you;ve no idea what to do to and we're likely to remain in the bottom three for some time.
The break gives ME the ideal time to sack him and at least let new manager get the players organised.
I think the squad as it is could do better but we need new ideas which Jewell doesnt possess. His tactics and style are very poor and all i can say is that he was very lucky at Wigan. Derby learnt quicker than we have so please ME get rid of NOW |

Jewell has missed the point. Taylor is playing like he should be, its the rest that are underperforming! Putting Murphy on the wing is bad as we need his height in the centre with Jason picking up the layoffs. Marting would also do better in centre behind these two leaving three in midfield. My concern is that PJ took him on trial and made him an offer (apparently!) and it was only because PJ is holding out for "better prospect" that he decide to try elsewhere. I'd have taken him at least until January but PJ still mucking about its going to be weeks before the side is settled. At moment we cant score but even if we do i'm still worried that we'll let more in as Smith is vulnerable and Cresswell isnt focused on playing for Town. |

A useful addition BUT he's not PJ's first choise. If Daryl plays in central role then i'm pleased as he can hold up against big defenders and will possess ariel threat (very lacking at present).
I'd didnt like him on left wing especially as keepers were punting balls at him and it became too predictable!! But then again i don't understand why when our keepers take goal kicks, all our players mass on one side of the pitch. Why don't our fullbacks hold back and collect ball or break off away from everyone else. At least we'd keep position a bit longer!! |
