Yep, not sure you can make a sweeping generalization off the back of one match, particularly here when there's a player advantage.
The Premier is generally stronger than La Liga but that's no great surprise given the money involved but the suggestion that a bottom three side of the Premier could compete consistently with a top six side of La Liga is unlikely. |

I think any Muslim leader getting a minute's silence at a football match in the UK would be odd but the same is true for the Pope to be honest. If either had played for PSG or Arsenal, or been on their board then it would probably be right to mark their passing at a football match. |

That's been reported here too. Showing a graph where demand and supply is always in near unison til suddenly it fell off a cliff at lunchtime yesterday.
As somebody who doesn't have any deeper understanding this seems incredibly precarious. Every Spanish village, town and city are a spaghetti of cables and boxes so it"s no real surprise that a balancing act of energy provision has an inherrent weak spot. |

I log all my sightings on the Birda app. Friendly community birding app and handy for help with unidentified sightings. Also started using ebird which is a bit more scientific and serious.
Photographed a pair of golden eagles yesterday morning but couldn't download the pics til the lights came back on in the evening. |

I assume it's down to poor infrastructure after a blip caused by who knows what. Nobody really knows yet or is not saying.
I was without light for just 5 hours but my daughter didn't get hers back till 6 this morning, and she's just 2 hours away. Poor girl was coping with a baby and small child, I just had to deal with cold tortilla and the beers didn't even have time to warm up. |

It goes in cycles, but right now my top two would be Man City and Real Madrid, a couple of years ago it would still have been City but PSG running them close. 4 years ago Barça and City with a special mention for PSG and Madrid. |

Madrid were a disgrace, all the referee victimisation nonsense this season, spending the first half of the match kicking lumps out of the opposition and then players running on the pitch and chucking bottles from the bench. Rudiger and Vasquez sent off and we'll probably get more victim stuff this week on the back of it.
Rudiger has always been a prize plum but Bellingham is turning into a real spoilt child and Vini Jr no better. |

Unconscious bias and real corruption are worlds apart. The former is quite likely, the latter is nonsense. We haven't won once since Christmas because of corruption, we haven't been good enough and that's the reality. No shame in it either but to blame our fate on corruption is ridiculous. |

It may have been the same punk I saw just after the match. I got on the Number 11 bus pretty quick after the match, the line of buses would wait on Portman Walk (I think it was). Could see people running up and down Portman Road then a punk with a large mohawk jumped on the bus. He had a look around, realized it was full of old codgers and us young 'uns and tore off.
That stuck in my mind but I can't remember anything about the match. |

I saw Terry Hall at Reading Uni, probably 1984 or 85 so assume it was Fun Boy Three then. I don't remember anything about the songs played but it was the most violent gig I've ever been to. A mix of skinheads, national front, mods, punks, squaddies, rastas, students and people probably expecting Bananarama to appear.
Would loved to have seen The Specials, originals or reformed. I probably listen to them more now than I did back then. |
