Hmmmmm...we've lost Tuanzebe and Burgess who were both out of contract, and Delap that the whole football world knew was moving on. I imagine they're still hoping most of the squad will be kept - O'Shea's new contract suggests that's the case. |

Don't use smart pricing on Booking, don't offer discounts for mobile users or local users. In fact I'd only offer discounts for stays over a week. Booking send emails out weekly suggesting lower prices, shorter lead times, discounts for whatever. Ignore them all and set a price that gets you the income required and doesn't rely on people who are just interested in the cheapest option. I don't accept animals either. |

Booking.com charge between 17% and 23%, Airbnb a little less. An agency typically charges 20 to 25% for their services on top of that. Reviews on Booking and Airbnb can only be left by people who have stayed so no reviews from mates or family. Ignore the outliers though as you can get some pretty daft comments - that's why I mentioned places with over 20 reviews as you should get a good idea and not rely on a couple of nutters. I get about one nutter a year. |

That's very simplistic. What about Booking, VRBO and other platforms? What about second homes and what about multinationals buying entire apartment blocks to rent out flats to business visitors and tourists? It also depends on location so just boycotting Airbnb is pretty pointless. Not going on holiday to busy and overcrowded locations would be far more effective. |

I have 3 properties on Booking and Airbnb. From a host standpoint Airbnb are much better to work with than Booking. If I was spending hundreds (or thousands) on a stay I would only book a place run by a Superhost on Airbnb and with a review score of over 9 on Booking, and with a minimum of 20 reviews. Most properties here are actually run by agencies who offer a package of dealing with bookings, cleaning and emails. I wouldn't use one as a host unless absolutely forced to. Generally their service is poor to average and they will be the ones you talk to rather than the homeowners. I personally mail guests a week before arrival, give them all the house and regional info as well as my WhatsApp number for any questions. I meet them at the property and offer to be there when they leave. An agency would do the bare minimum. In reality it matters little if you book via Airbnb or Booking as it all depends on the host or agency. If there are issues, it's probably easier to get a resolution on Airbnb than Booking. As for the OPs problem, I would definitely contact Airbnb and explain the issue. They will contact the host and you're more likely to get things sorted via the company. |

Don't be so naïve, jeez! You honestly believe that? Do you think the US just jumped on a great bit of luck that the Israelis had cleared the way for US bombers to fly in. |

What's this nonsense about playing the man? He created a conflict and then ended it with a ceasefire. There's nothing to cheer about here, several hundred deaths is far from a good job. |

He got a ceasefire for a conflict he partly created, which took months in planning apparently and with the help of Israel. Any news on what nukes were taken out as I've not seen any evidence if obliteration? If you think that's getting the job done then you're easily pleased. |

Gaslighting: psychological manipulation of a person usually over an extended period of time that causes the victim to question the validity of their own thoughts, perception of reality, or memories and typically leads to confusion, loss of confidence and self-esteem, uncertainty of one's emotional or mental stability, and a dependency on the perpetrator. I don't think anyone is gaslighting on here, are they? |

They certainly were but Corberán has really turned them round since joining from WBA. A team definitely on the up again, which can't be said of Girona, the earlier Spanish rumour. Corberán will be very familiar with Burgess, and as much as he is a very solid defender it seems an odd fit. |
 | Forum Reply | Offside quibble at 21:15 8 Jun 2025
I think the Spanish defence stopped a bit thinking Ronaldo was offside, which gave the space for the shot. It was seconds between Ronaldo's touch and the goal. |
 | Forum Reply | Offside quibble at 21:01 8 Jun 2025
He seemed to know he was offside and watching live it did look that he was half a body off. The lines didn't agree which was odd but it certainly couldn't have been too early as it was right before the goal, maybe 3 seconds. I thought his position in the goal against Germany was offside too but the lines said otherwise. |

Spain 5 France 4. Spain were 5-1 up mid second half. Agree there's too much football after the season ends and players (and fans) need a break but that was a cracking match of attacking football. |

If you keep repeating this, it doesn't make it any more true. He's in no way "very raw" - it's nonsense. Players don't successfully come through the Masia and debut (and score)for Barça if they are not completely ready to hold their own at the top of La Liga. They don't either go on to debut in the Premier or score a hat-trick in a European competition. It's a bizarre take. He's young and consequently has limited experience but in no way "very raw". The logical reason for any reticence in joining a Championship club is because after debuting and scoring for both Barça and Chelsea he probably has his sights set a lot higher, and understandably so. |

That's not completely correct. Today they signed Garcia from Espanyol and have made enquiries about Luis Diaz. They are having to get rid of players to sign new ones but they're not under any kind of transfer embargo. |

I'm probably missing something obvious but from the footage it shows the planes lined up together on the tarmac in the open air. Why wouldn't they have some kind of protection, maybe not individual hangars but some roof structure for protection and out of satellite view. |

I just don't see Guiu coming here, even loaned I'm sure there would be a lot more attractive offers across Europe. |
