They used to have a competion called spot the ball, maybe we could start a new one up called spot the left back, I don't think the sniper training is working as well as it should, as although I couldn't spot him for their last three goals I did spot him over on the right when the ball was put into the box for their first. |

First priority this season should have been to bring in 2 or 3 players with the quality/experience to keep us up, then look to bring on younger players. But as we have put all our eggs in one basket in bringing young players on we have only the process to blame, for people saying we are investing in going down to come straight back up, dream on, promotion from the Championship is not a formality, unless we can find some players who are willing & able to pass to their team mates in a forward direction without stopping to look for options we could end up doing a Luton. I think people are forgetting most of our best football last season was when we had to pass forward with more urgency, because we were behind.

You see some dumb comments on here, but Stato yours just about takes the prize, " If we reject say a 60m bid from Chelsea then City could come in and buy him for 40m knowing there is a 60m buyer waiting ".......Do you honestly believe that Ashton (or anyone else for that matter) would turn down £60m if it was actully true City then had the right to buy him for £40m. I'm sure there must be somewhere you can get help. LOL. |

Why do people keep worrying about Man City, assuming it's the same as what Philogenes buy back was at Villa , then it only comes in if they match any offer we have excepted from someone else, which would mean he was already leaving...... but can you really see Ashton excepting any offer from anyone else unless it was ridiculously high. |

Churchmans, If you read the posts....... neither of us were talking about how much they have made on selling him to Hull, Souperjim was only talking about what they make on this sale, I was pointing out it wasn't that much if you take in consideration the 30% they would have received had we got him from Hull...... & I think you will find it was it was 18 million we agreed with Hull not 15, so if you grab a calculater & subtract 18 from 20 that leaves you with 2 plus add-ons...........on This sale. |

The problem you have now with players are their agents, if he is on £1,040,000 a year, & is offered £5,200,000 a year, his agent is going to be bending his ear so he can get a slice of that. The agent doesn't care if he is playing football, they just want their client to earn as much as possible. |

Not a single shot on target ?, Broadhead had a shot on target that was deflected for a corner, we might of had a few more if he was given some more minutes, also managed to carry the ball past a couple of players in the short time he was on, something players who keep starting don't seem able to do. |

Laurie Sivell was better at coming for crosses than Muric & that was dealing with players like Andy Gray ....Muric fumbles balls that he does decide to come for & that is when he's not even challenged.
