I get the provocative point, although if the police believe an individual could be in danger because the individual was wearing a skullcap there should be some responsibility on the police to arrest those individuals who were potentially going to endanger that individual?
What is still making me smile on this topic is a few on here got upset when we had the Queen's funeral and King coronation and people standing in the crown with not my King placards and shouting were moved on by the police. They moaned about the police threatening to arrest those 'protesters' and how it was wrong that people who have a different view shouldn't be allowed to stand in a crowd and display those differences. Apparently to some on here it was a sign of fascism, and tje police were wrong.
But now they are arguing an individual wearing a skullcap in a crowd with different views is provocative and the police were right to more him or even arrest him.
I guess that's the UK in 2024, stand with an anti royal placard in a pro royal crowd is allowed. Individual wearing a skullcap, which identifies him as Jewish , standing near an apparent pro Gaza crowd, not allowed. |

Physical maybe. They played today, then midweek, then Sat, then midweek.
Emotional could be the opposite, ie it makes them even more determined to get into the playoffs. |

The met commissioner should really think about resigning. The police officer used the expression 'openly Jewish' based purely on the individual wearing a kippah. The police officer has discriminated against them because of their clothing.
People would be 'up in arms', correctly, if a march was on and a muslim woman wearing a burka was told they couldn't walk down a road because they're 'openly muslim'. If a coloured man was walking near a right wing march and the police prevented them from walking down a street and said you cannot because you're 'openly black', again quite rightly people would be up in arms.
I'm sure if the individual wasn't wearing a kippah that policeman would have let them walk on without any comments. Nobody should be singled out and threatened with arrest because of what they're wearing or the colour of their skin. |

I think yesterday was getting to all fans. A bod behind me on approx 70mins started shouting (very loudly& often) 'move it quicker', 'stop fecking around Town put into the box'
Then after a ball was launched into the box he shouted very loudly 'ffs Town play you're style not a long pump into the box'. At least it meant loads of us laughed at that and help take some of the tension away. |

Different quality of teams. For example, Watford were in the Prem only a couple of seasons ago they will have quality players, but playing with no pressure. That extra quality will hurt you and its quality missing from L1
Sir Alex squeaky bum comment was based on the Prem. You would argue players at that level should never be impacted by pressure but they are. As he said that pressure results in players doing strange things and often the complete opposite of what they have done up to that point in the season. |

I was frustrated with the entitled fans coming out of the ground last night, moan, moan, moan. I had to swear at one idiot moaning about 'we should be easily beating teams like Watford'. Ffs a couple of years ago Watford were in the Prem and us in L1. We talk about Norwich tinpot fans but as I said to him comments like that make some Town fans tinpot.
As you say we're in an automatic promotion place in the championship with 4 games to go, if fans cannot enjoy that then they aren't real fans.
I can already see what will happen when we are in the Prem next season, constant moaning by fans if we aren't in the top 6. |

I don't think it's physical jaded, it's mental jaded, the pressure is getting to the players as it is at Leeds and Leicester.
The pressure is making the players take the simple pass, or not gambling on a run, worried they will make a mistake which results in a goal for the opposition.
More than once last night the chance to take that gamble and ping it to a player in a tight situation wasn't taken and the simple side pass was taken, 2 months ago the ping would have been taken.
It's OK talking about one game at a time but it's only natural players will be aware of the Leeds, Leicester results from the previous night.
It's Sir Alex's famous squeaky bum time. |

It's squeaky bum time.
Not trying to be rude but Sir Alex (who let's face it the brown stuff coming out of his bottom probably knows more about football than anyone on this site) always said about this time of the season, strange things happen, performances can suddenly drop. Even the most experienced, confident player/team is affected by squeaky bum time.
So I don't think it's issues as such the pressure is getting to everyone
Taking each game at a time is even more important now. Too many fans try and second guess all the various permutations. |
