| Forum Thread | Sigh.. at 23:11 30 Aug 2024
Well it was certainly the exciting deadline day as expected.. extremely disappointing end to it. I imagine we feel we have been mugged off right at the end. |
| Forum Thread | Nelson / Broja.. at 21:04 30 Aug 2024
So what happens with Broja now then?? We looking at a buy instead? Maybe a left field striker buy on a permanent instead? |
| Forum Thread | Broja back on.. at 13:10 30 Aug 2024
According to Sky the deal might be back on. Maybe a straight loan is possible. |
| Forum Thread | Latte Lath at 09:57 30 Aug 2024
Now officially linked, just doesnt seem the profile we usually go for, only 5ft 9. Wouldnt be cheap. |
| Forum Thread | Deadline day at 09:38 30 Aug 2024
The striker situ is going to go down to the wire isnt it.. to not even have any links yet either means its being covered up very well, or we are scrambling! Adding to this - am I the only one that wouldnt go for Latte Lath? Just think he will cost a lot of money. [Post edited 30 Aug 9:53]

What do we reckon then? Broja? Foster? Edouard? Or someone not yet named.. I feel like the Broja deal gets done last minute on terms we're happy with. Ogbene has a history of playing striker so couldve been brought in as another option whilst we wait for Broja to be ready. |
| Forum Thread | Striker - who now? at 21:39 24 Aug 2024
@Phil / Anyone in the know.. Do we have £20m+ to drop on a 9 or is it likely just a loan? Was so excited at the thought of Broja.. gutted it appears to have fallen through. Any ideas of who now? |

| Forum Thread | Broja - trying permanent? at 18:41 15 Aug 2024
Daily express reporting we are pursuing permanent deal as of 1 hour ago.. |
| Forum Thread | @Phil - Szmodics.. at 15:22 15 Aug 2024
What is the general consensus around this, do you think it gets done? Is it still ‘active’ or just we’ve laid down an offer and we haven’t budged. |
| Forum Thread | SIGNINGS at 11:44 15 Aug 2024
Broja, Kalvin, SS, and a LW and we are READY (Plus maybe another CB as seems we want one) |
| Forum Thread | Kalvin at 14:57 12 Aug 2024
Anyone saying no to this needs their head banging on a wall. This man was voted englands player of the year 3 years ago, 28 years old so not at the end of his career. Yes he’s on a big wage but we wouldn’t be paying all of it.. 100k a week over 12 months is less than £5m, he’d cost at least £20m to buy so for me if possible, it’s a no brainer. |

Really hope we start looking at players in other regions such as South America.. not against any of the players we’re signing whatsoever, but obviously young English players price are usually double what their actual value would be! Hard not the think you could pick up similar level players for half the price abroad. I guess that can come back to a language barrier issue that we may not need or want. |
| Forum Thread | Delap price at 14:12 9 Jul 2024
Can’t lie £15m + 5m seems extremely steep. Maybe pulling away from Fotis has allowed us to spend more on getting jaden and greaves in. Delap could be a great counter attacking option though. Quicker than Hirst and good with his feet. Still would like to have a proven goalscorer in the door as well though. Imagine we will still be after 1 more striker and send Ali out on loan? |
| Forum Thread | Philogene at 09:56 9 Jul 2024
I’m getting worried, TWTD story suggests we’re the faves, but his agent posted all over Instagram 11 hours ago being at Everton (his agent seems like a bit of a k nob). Few stories this morning saying he now wants Everton.. seriously hope we can pull this one out the bag. |
| Forum Thread | Ioannidis at 12:07 8 Jul 2024
@Phil / or anyone in the know know what’s going on with this fella? Is it a case of offer on the table and see if it’s accepted? Seems odd that we bid so much money and then radio silence since. Maybe we’ve just moved on? |
| Forum Thread | Do we still want him? at 07:32 24 May 2024
With everything going on with McKenna, even if he does end up staying, surely there’s now going to be a saltiness in the air? He’s clearly interested in other things and not 100% on us.. do we even want him anymore? With us going into the transfer market, it’s going to put potential players off coming here with all this noise now as a lot of players would join because of him. We can probably be sure Omari won’t be coming back now after all this. I know he obviously isn’t an Ipswich fan like we are and clearly doesn’t have a connection to the club as much as we thought he did, clearly he’s more of a businessman than we thought. But we gave him his chance. If he goes anywhere other than Man Utd which is clearly the job he wants then he can get fcked. Would be hoping he gets a hostile reaction if he returned as Brighton or Chelsea boss.
