Think most of the ones named will to be honest unsure if anyone will put an offer in for Davis though. I likely think a few more may follow, |

Still gets me even now, loved Reuser, what a player. Best Ipswich moment I have witnessed live. |

I had a routine that worked perfectly in Championship. In the prem nothing worked so gave up, not sure what I'll do next season now! |

We need a reset but hard to say how much we play is down to him or McKenna, defensively we must change if we are to get anywhere near surviving the Corruptship. |

Chelsea win and then by 70's playground rules we are best team in Europe having beaten them and Spurs. |

Well we certainly need one of those! |
 | Forum Reply | Woolfy off? at 08:02 28 May 2025
I really hope not but you can't blame him, limited game time and at his age should be playing every week. As I feared there may be a huge turnover of staff this summer. It already appears to be starting in the backroom before we get to the players. That said an opportunity to refresh but would be really sad to see Woolfy go, think he deserved more game time this season and he should have been part of a 3 man central defence. |

Yeah I don't disagree, you basically have the old guard who will be thinking I am surplus to requirements in a years time if we go up and the new guard some of whom likely think they belong in the premier league. I think there will be a lot of activity, that said some players may be hard to sell due to price tags we paid e.g. Taylor and Al Hamadi. It is going to be a difficult summer to build a Championship ready team for August. That is what's needed a team, not 25 players constantly rotated, we need a core of 9 players that start week in, week out and get some momentum going quick. I'd say only Palmer, Woolfy, Hirst, Szmodics, Ogbene are almost certain to start the first match. Hope we get one more year out of Morsy as we need his leadership to hold things together. As you say Clark could easily go back to Sunderland if the win the play offs and I am sure many others would jump if a premier club came calling. I think a lot depends on whether KM is true to his word about staying and there has already been a lot of planning, transfers need to get done early on. I'd also be budgeting for a January spend to push on further and cover the inevitable injuries we seem to suffer with. |

Not until the moment he leaves us, would be amazed if he did. Everton would be logical next step up and could then move to a top six club in 2/3 years time and not far from Manchester where I believe he wants to go back to? |

Target has to be win the league given we finished second out of teams in the league next season. That would mark progress, of course deducting Leicester 9 points will help this considerably. No point aiming for top six, aim for the title. Big summer ahead, let's see some early midfield beasts in the building please. |

Sorry, but its the tactics (rather the lack of) that are wrong and also too many poor signings that aren't up to it that in turn have ruined our team spirit and drained confidence. But of course the correct narrative here is fine margins....not. |
 | Forum Reply | Baffling the anti McKenna stuff creeping in at 19:39 18 May 2025
I'm KM in still but there's no denying he's had a very poor season tactically. Yes the journey, the injuries, fine margins, blah, blah. Make whatever excuses but going to PR this season has been painful. As I say I don't want him out but in truth he'd have been sacked at any other club with results/performances like we've had in 2025. I'm glad we are not one of those clubs but KM despite his heroics prior to this season isn't immune from criticism. I think the crowd have been incredibly supportive, I doubt many other clubs fans would have been? |
 | Forum Reply | Still think McKenna is as good as the hype that surrounded him? at 17:46 18 May 2025
He's a young manager, learning (I hope from this year), and is entitled to a bad season. Question is can he become a better manager for it or another manager who will disappear down the divisions. This year has been poor there is no point pretending otherwise but the last two seasons were tremendous for the most part. Agree that any other club would likely have sacked him but I am pleased we haven't. |

Luton were statistically better than us and got relegated. The championship is a tough league, last time around we had momentum which I think was so under valued. This time around we don't will be a scalp and will be a tough division see Brum, Wrexham coming up. Agree it's a huge summer and recruitment has to be right this time around. |
