Omari should remember that the clubs in question had a window where they could snaffle him. They didn't utilise it, Brentford decided that rather than a priority signing hes someone they should haggle over and see. Forest bid is almost an after thought. |

But we didn't accept the offer. Difference is clear, had they met the terms of the clause we would have been contractually obliged to accept. Now we are not.
Maybe a straight up 35 mil cash up top or lost of it anyway gets it done. Its a sizeable chunk of change maybe its not but to say we accepted tbe offer isnt true we had to. Why people insist on trying to muddy the waters on this for kicks is beyond me when we can all see through it. |

Legend but perhaps time, Klug helped produced some of our best young players but over recent years the talent comming through hasn't made much of a dent in the 1st team. Even those that did were during somw of our darkest days. Probably hamstrung by a lack of investment for a long time and no doubt he has been a big part of the club for many many years. A great deal of thanks is owed to him but fresh ideas are due I think and whilst I'd hate to see him rock up to the carrot farm there is no doubt he should leave with nothing but thanks and gratitude. |

The game has changed hasn't it? It's so easy to fall out and not get back, money is the biggest talker. IDK if Ben is set for life after his city move but he's certainly in a strong finnancial position, take it whilst it's there, it can be fleeting.
It can go both ways, Mings for example but his story is a much rarer one.
Of course maybe developing here and he's a better player and that big move comes along but being the best at under 16s doesn't automatically translate to having a career.
