A good friend of mine is a Brentford season ticket holder and genuinely laughed out loud when he heard we had reunited Douglas and Diagouraga.. says it all. I have nothing against this guy but i just dont understand our strategy. What is the plan? What does he bring that we need? Quite simply I am underwhelmed, frustated and hugely disappointed with the club's ambition. It's not easy being a town fan at the moment. |

"I think I'm more in the box than the centre-forward." I am no Bobby Robson but that may give some indication as to why we haven't actually scored for 4 matches.. For me, Douglas is missing the point as well as the target. It's not that we are criticising his and Skuse's postional sense being the same, it's that we are critiquing their performances. In my opinion neither are good enough. It's clearly not working at the moment so we would like to see others given a chance |

The form of other players? "Skusey and Dougie have been playing so well". Absolutely unbelievable. We are crying out for some creativity and this lad along with Bishop and Dozzell have hardly had a kick. Give them a chance! I would rather lose by actually trying to play football and giving our younger players a chance than grind out a 0-0 bore draw with Mick's 'star men'. So so frustrating.. |

Chambers attitude and commitment aren't in doubt, he is a good captain. But and it's a big but, he is not a good right back, it's that simple. Being a good professional does not mean you can play out of position to the required standards. Fair play to him for getting on with it for so long and not moaning but if Mick can't see his weakness as a full back then it speaks volumes. |

They say nice things because you are under pressure and they feel sorry for you! It is called the managers union. We might be ok in possession but the fact remains that we whilst we are shipping goals for fun we will lose games. Jewell has had plenty of time to sort out the defence and has failed to do so. Even if our forwards scored two goals a game I think we would still lose a lot of games. It's easy to be nice about teams who pose no threat to you! I would rather be hated for winning every week. I hope we win 5-4 tonight.. |
