| News Comment | McCarthy Delighted With Players Despite Defeat at 00:18:34
Well, despite the loss, I feel that our much changed side gave a great account of themselves and there are many positives to take from this game. I don't think anyone played particularly badly except maybe Coke in the first half. I thought our defence was solid, Emmanuel is a great prospect for the future. The two centre backs were organised, strong and commited as was Parr. Bru is a player with real class, he needs to start in the league as soon as possible. I thought Oar also did well. Overall I'm not complaining, we played well against a very strong Manchester Utd team. A word for the other fans as well - what support I thought everyone showed tonight. Constant singing and cheering (right through until the end) in what would have otherwise been a very very quiet Old Trafford. |
| News Comment | Town Confirm Tabb Extension at 18:58:06
Can't understand this I'm afraid. Tabb works hard and has chipped in at some important times this season, however, in the big games he just lacks the quality. People on here slating Anderson are wrong to do so. We forget he started many games before Christmas and played well, he then got dropped but has recently refound the form he showed at the start of the season. Tabb is a decent squad player but to really push for the top two next season, I don't think we shall see too much of him. He wouldn't ever displace a midfield trio of Bishop Bru and Skuse, in my opinion, but Mick has got us this far so he knows what he's doing and I trust him to make the right decision. |
| News Comment | Town Closing in On a Sell-Out at 14:41:31
Bewilders me that people thought this wouldn't sell out. The biggest game in the club's recent history and people think the price would prevent a sell-out. It's been classed as a Grade A game because that's exactly what it is! I know people may find this hard to pay for, but the club is operating within FFP and this is necessary for the club. Norwich are a much richer club than us in terms of their finances having been in the promise land much more recently, thus they can afford the lower ticket prices for their fans. I for one will be there this Saturday, getting behind the lads and cheering us onto victory! Lets make some noise for the tractor boys! |
