 | News Comment | Hutchinson: Ipswich Town Will Always Have a Place in My Heart at 21:16:26
It feels like a thank you and goodbye. If so I'm conflicted between wanting him to go somewhere else and it not to work out then get him back, and being grateful for what he did for us in such a short time and rooting for him to become world class. |

Two rounds in a row we were drawn against the lowest ranked side in the competition. It was Ramsgate/Wimbledon now its Maidstone. |
 | News Comment | Edwards Returns From Oxford Loan at 17:32:58
@Jugsy I agree with you. A potential player doesn't make it the right player for us. Omari may go on to great things but he hasn't been a game changer for a month or so. @Mediocre quick Kyle Edwards was thought of highly a few years ago as well, I'm not sure what your point is there, so is Dane Scarlett at Spurs, doesn't make them bad players if they're not performing for us, just means they're not at the right stage of their careers to make impacts for us. |
 | News Comment | Sheffield Wednesday Clash a Sell-Out at 21:28:08
This match fills me with dread. I regret allowing myself to get carried away early on in the season, but it's clear to see our form is not a blip. The game should suit us as we have demonstrated we are better when playing more attacking sides, however a loss risks derailing not just the season but the identity the club has desperately trying to rediscover. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Mixed Feelings But Lots to Be Proud Of at 23:41:17
Comfortable in possession without really offering much of a threat until we pushed for the late winner. If we attacked with that same energy earlier on in the game we would have won this comfortably. At the moment I feel nervy when the opposition comes forward as we seem to concede sloppy goals at the moment, but not confident we will create chances in possession. We may need an out and out striker but until we find that visionary number 10 (for me this is where I believe we miss Celina) I don't think an out and out striker will get the goals whilst we struggle for the final ball to unlock defenses. Whilst the season has been a success so far, ultimately we will all look upon it as a failure unless this ends in promotion. People will grumble about the negativity but without converting possession into chances we will continue to rely on goals from set pieces and defensive errors. Two goalkeeper spills in the last two games and two set piece goals, both positives but not goals you can rely on. |

Pleased for Baggott scoring. However he did have a pass percentage of 46% which doesn't fit with our model, also gave away a penalty. |

 | News Comment | Bakinson Joins Owls at 18:41:35
A player who probably is incredibly decent at this level, sadly anybody in this league who plays alongside Morsy (who for me is the best best midfielder in the league) is going to look inconsistent. I think Bakinson will become a solid Championship player over time though. |
 | News Comment | EFL Drop Matchday Testing at 00:56:41
More players off from actually having symptoms (albeit mild) makes this a stupid decision. Imagine us losing points because we can't field a team because a number of them are symptomatic. Framingham Blue it sounds like you've let your personal view of your own best interests overcome the logical view. I for one will be fuming if we miss out on the play offs because we lose points or we can't field a team. |
 | News Comment | Harris Applies For Town Job at 18:53:05
Honestly don't understand the people who were over the moon about Cook going. I'm not saying I was happy with how things were, but I honestly don't think he's worse than what we've been linked with. |
 | News Comment | MacAnthony: Ipswich is a Dream Job For Someone at 12:39:03
If we appoint a big name it won't be a repeat of Keane. Keane's managerial career stopped on the back of his stint at Ipswich. Any big name would know that they take that risk if they took the job- dropping down to League 1 and risking the embarrassment of doing poorly would be enough motivation for them to give their all. If they have reasonable salary expectations and are willing to drop down then we should give them a go. Of all that is going wrong at Derby, Wayne Rooney has managed to uphold a reputation, can't be all that bad. As long as he doesn't take out our players in training i'm not bothered. |
