Is it just me that finds Terry Butcher rude? I find myself switching off the moment he opens his mouth.

No, I don’t think TB is rude. I just think he enjoys a wind up. He knows players and ex players can look after themselves.

Good show. Cole Skuse is a nice bloke - I hope he hoes on to do well in management.

Rude, NO. Terry has a ‘Locker room sense of rumour’. When you spend your life in an environment where banter is your best form of attack or defence you develop a certain type of humour to survive. Great show once again team!

Bradleyblue89: of you think Terry is rude you clearly haven't worked in a banter room environment of work then. Goes on all the time in factories, offices, just about everywhere. If you find his level of banter rude, my god you have led a very sheltered life. Terry is for the most part funny and very informative on what football used to be like.

Agree to disagree Naylor's Right Boot. That was quite the leap from one statement.

Sorry Bradley blue, but you are way over thinking this.

Bradleyblue89 I agree with you, especially in the first episode he kept on talking over people. It's not that he uses banter, it's that he comes across as if what he has to say is more important or interesting.

Skuse me, but, cole 'excuse me while i make a bad tackle' skuse should not be on life's a pitch. We need players who played under Burley or Jewell

I enjoyed the show and it's good to hear the stories and opinions of those who have been on the inside of ITFC. Regarding Butcher and his rudeness (or not) I do find him a bit awkward but given his history at Town, his dislike of Norwich and his efforts for England I'm prepared to overlook his on screen persona. I do think Mark Murphy looks uncomfortable perched on the edge of the sofa and Phil Ham needs to be more involved.

I didn't hear much of the radio show, but i found in the first TV episode he always turned the conversation to getting/being drunk.
Less so in Ep.2, so I'll put it down to nerves during first show of the new format.

Bradleyblue89 you have obviously not met Terry Butcher, you could never meet a more kinder and less arrogant person who plays down his achievements.
Banter is all part of the football culture and he accepts everything he is given back in good faith.
I'm sure the same can be said of all other players to represent ITFC.
