 | Forum Thread | If we go down and come back up at 15:06 6 Apr 2025
Do we think we keep the majority of the squad together then go down the route of signing a few players in the 30 to 50 million quid bracket? Not really sure how else we start catching up other than that, looking at the long term goal of becoming an established prem club. |

According to BBC gossip page. I suppose the more interest the better for us ahead of the summer. |
 | Forum Thread | Lack of goals at 08:34 2 Feb 2025
As much as Muric had a shocker, the reason we will end up going down will be down to our finishing. Time and time again we haven't put teams away when on top or made the most of our opportunities. We know defending in this division would be tough and I actually feel we've managed it fairly well. However, there is far too much reliance and pressure on Delap. Some of the attacking midfielders need to start taking some accountability! I know they are young but if they want to take the next step in their careers it's about rising to it. Add in the lack of goals from central midfield and also set pieces and it's quite a problem, albeit I think Davis' final ball has gone off the boil a bit. The only consolation that I am trying to convince myself with is that if we do go down, we should have bags of quality at Championship level, but it can't be understated what that could do to the younger players confidence. I didn't want to believe all the comments about the gap from the championship to the prem (heart over head) but it's extremely apparent. |
 | Forum Thread | Midfield Dilemma at 09:52 17 Jan 2025
I've seen a few people say that we need a central midfield player this window which I've kind of brushed off because of the options we have, but it does seem to be coming apparent that our midfield is hit and miss. Without Morsy in there yesterday, there was no one demanding the ball from the back line which meant we had to revert to going long. I don't think either Phillips or Cajuste imposed themselves on the game at all. Also, when we are playing with the 5 into a 4 hybrid, it feels as though one of the midfielders needs to get forward and support but that doesn't seem to be happening either. I appreciate a striker still has to be the main priority for the remainder of the window but another midfield option certainly won't do any harm. |

...to Luton apparently. Wonder if young Cam might end up getting recalled and sent there. |

Another one KM has worked his magic with! Looks to be getting better and better with every game. I thought he was superb this evening. |
 | Forum Thread | New Manager Process at 11:33 24 May 2024
Theoretically speaking of course, but I would assume that someone as astute as Ashton will have contingency plans in place with regards to the current situation. How exactly do we reckon that happens? I would imagine it is trusted to as few people as possible to prevent leaks, but the board above him will be aware of the situation and I am guessing he then contacts agents etc on the quiet to check availability and interest levels of those we may target? I'd imagine its a pretty delicate situation all round when you factor in that we will also be trying to keep KM at the same time but he was likely spoken to before we pulled the trigger with Cook anyway I'd assume. |

That was a Magilton-esque performance from him tonight. Unbelievable shift. Gave absolutely everything and played almost as if it would be the last time he ever steps foot on a football pitch. F.ucking class! |
 | Forum Thread | Nervousness at 11:21 7 Apr 2024
Thought that despite all of the talk about it just 'being another game' at our end from the players and KM, we had a lot of players that looked like they were nervous yesterday. Hladky, Burgess, Mass and Tuanzebe in particular looked as though the occasion got to them. Even Morsy started off a bit shaky. That's quite uncharacteristic of us as usually we manage to find a way but we just seemed intimidated by them. As I said after the Cardiff game though, I could see us bouncing back stronger from this. It would be typical of us to win the next five now as has previously been the case when struck with a difficult result. It's still in our hands and the good thing with a mid week fixture means we can put it to bed quickly! |
 | Forum Thread | EEJB at 12:56 30 Mar 2024
The EEJB sang at the start of the game yesterday was spine tingling stuff. Came accross seriously loud on the telly and sounded like everyone was belting it out. Super stuff Town fans! |
 | Forum Thread | Vent it Here! at 20:06 9 Mar 2024
People moan about the forum and hindsight etc etc but at the end of the day, better here than fortress P right?. Yeah, it wasn't our finest 10 minutes at the end but f00k me.....This is a season we have dreamt of! Defensively we know we have difficulties but we are right in the mix! I think it's fair people vent here and point out issues with the goals and I like analysis, but it just looked like tired legs to me. Bring on next week and the international break and we will finish strong! Bring on the scum. |
 | Forum Thread | Jack Taylor at 22:16 5 Mar 2024
Simply immense when he came on! Burns was class, as was the other subs but Taylor for me changed that game. What a range of passing and hopefully that is the potential we have signed moving forwards! Come onnnnnnnnnn! |
 | Forum Thread | Poor side at 14:43 16 Dec 2023
What the hell has happened to all that Prem money? I thought Norwich were very poor. Everything direct and no quality. Just a shame our finishing was the only thing that let us down. On another day we win by 5 or 6! |
 | Forum Thread | Physicality at 21:46 12 Dec 2023
That was the highlight for me. There has been a lot of emphasis on Watford being a strong and physical side but we every bit matched them. Proper grit and determination and Clarke coming on shut down the issues on that right hand side. Also a word for Harness. He really is lovely to watch with the ball at his feet. Little touches and moving on the ball. He looks a lot sharper than Broady at the minute so must be in contention for Saturday. |

But also can't hide from some poor individual performances tonight. Still, it's another away point gained. |
