In the past for games that we're going to sell out ( such as Norwich away) there has been an invitation letter sent to the fans that go to every game to avoid just what has happened today with a time they need to get their ticket before the remainder then went on sale.
There was plenty of time to do this , the game is still several weeks away so the ticket office have some explaining to do as to why several of the fans who go everywhere have been left without a ticket.
There are many ways of doing it , points systems is another way. No thought has been given.
As someone else said, how many of these fans are going to turn up at Bristol Rovers or Cheltenham away.
Very poor indeed.

I was on at 9.50 before they appeared as available.
As soon as they became available I selected the 5 tickets i needed but never got the option to add to basket , ( as someone else has said , having 5 tickets increased the chances of them being selected by someone else)
So I then had to reselect tickets which I did 4 times but still hit the same problem of not being able to add to basket as ticket not available despite me having selected it.
I have been to pretty much every away game this season , ad the last 3 seasons yet now we will not be going to the closest one of the season due to no fault of our own .
The club is doing lots of good things but this is not looking after the fans that go all over the country every weekend and on cold Tuesday nights.

Sad sad news , this show has been an institution for the kids and I on our travels to the match every week
Whoever is in charge of budgeting and who has made this decision needs to step forward and give the reasons why… else reconsider.
There is little enough sport on bbc radio now , what's it going to be replaced with …yet another middle of the road show… like we don't have enough of those already. |

Too much of this holding the league to ransom from teams with less than 2-3000 fans , if your business model can't cope without the costs why should they have a chance of promotions and dictate to the teams that can play? |

Last years draw was 'managed' to keep group winners from playing runners up they had already played. This was done by the Group Winners of Groups A to D only being able to play at home to Runners up from groups E to H.
Then vice versa group winners E to H could only play at home to runners up from groups A to D.
The draw is also regionalised , so we can only play Peterborough, MK Dons, Chelsea U21 or Exeter. |

Reading this excellent piece by Harry, it sounds like there are a lot of similarities between Preston and Hursts ITFC this season
Both brought a number of players in over the summer, without many games of champuonship level experience.
Both sides play similar formations.
Both have/had manager seen as agressive and with a possible lack of man management skills.
Both have dodgy defences with square pegs in round holes.
Equals both teams struggling at the wrong end of the table.
PL to be the difference and give us the impetus to win ! COYB! |
