Part of why our away support has been so loud and proud and so noticed by other teams that many mention us is that compared to other Premier league teams , it’s very hard to get an away ticket to one if our games. Every other team in the Premier has also been part of the established group and had their hard core support watered down bu tourists and overly expensive tickets. Tourists can’t infiltrate our fan base , we have so many fans that have been going for years , and it’s not a coincidence that those same fans sing their hearts out week after week. The question is , should the rules be relaxed to allow more town fans the chance to get tickets , ( but at the same time this comes with the risk that more tourists / non committed fans make up our away allocations and then the noise is diluted as we have seen at every other Premier league club. the hardcore fans have not been selling their tickets to tourists , but the more it’s relaxed , the lesser some fans will be committed |

3-2 and only 1 goal down over the Champions league quarter final …. And with Chelsea charging towards the Europa Conference And with us unbeaten in 4 games against these two teams , how would we do playing in Europe? How does our squad rank in European terms ? Top 100, Top 50, better than that? |

Girona if web rumours to be believed. |

Enjoyed watching that ball down the left several times last night, it is a frustrating part of Greaves game that he won’t play that pass even when Davis is literally begging him too. Instead it’s safe and sure across the back 4 while the opposition reorganise. A lot of our excellent play over the time since KM has been here has been attacking at pave and passing into slave with willing runners The recruitment in the summer looked to me that we knew we wouldn’t have as much of the ball and therefore brought in players who were fast and or confident with the ball …to counter attack at pace ….so to then slow play down the way Greaves does …. Even when we are losing ( the Man U game very frustrating) is counter intuitive. Greaves has a lot of good attributes but right now Burgess offers us what we need , strong defending, fast distribution, aerial ability , body on the line … get him signed up on a new contract! Great shout on the stats on points from games where Cameron and O’Shea have started …and did anyone see the huge grin on O’Shea face at the end of the match last night.. plain to see how much it meant to him. |
 | Forum Reply | Big decisions needed by KM at 20:26 15 Mar 2025
Posted this last week, it still rings true this week. This week exactly the same mistakes from price tag footballers … so so frustrating , we have a bunch of individuals starting games , with no teamwork cohesion especially when the front 4 are the 4 that started today , gettin in each other’s way, passes too short, or too late. What does Hirst have to do to start a game? Two goals for him from open play ( not penalties) in around 90 minutes of football recently. As I said last week , he joined the play up at Brentford and at Coventry …he’s the one in form , simple as that. Compare to Delap 2 goals from open play since Tottenham away on 10th November. 4 months ago. That’s just a big part of why we are where we are…. Along with the defence and of course the keeper issues earlier this season. Big decisions dodged today, will they be taken next match? |
 | Forum Thread | Big decisions needed by KM at 10:43 9 Mar 2025
Time for KM to earn the big bucks and make tough decisions. What we saw yesterday was the same as we have seen several times this season. Not taking our chances and a failure to keep a clean sheet. But is KM feeling the pressure to pick players with big price tags and big reputations instead of doing what is best for the team? At the back we can’t keep a clean sheet for love or money, Wolfy is only just back in the team due to injuries and crap performances by new signings, Burgess played well when he was in the team and again at Forest , is our best player in the air ( where was he at Man U when we conceded three set pieces?) and he also has a great understanding of when to set Leif free down the left to attack. Greaves goes sideways and safe with his passing often ignoring runs and calls for the ball to be played wide and the one time he did yesterday it ended up near the corner flag miles ahead of our player. I have yet to see …. and the goals against every game does not say he is any better.. price tag pick? Burgess out of contract in the summer , we could easily lose him too without even a fee. Is Greaves really the player for next season? At the other end , Delap is a victim of his own success , the other team just mark him out of the game and he is still a young striker learning his trade. Why are we putting all our eggs into the Delap basket to survive in the Prem , when he won’t even be here next season. In contrast Hirst started against Brentford and linked up play well, we scored 3 and wouldn’t have lost without the sending off. He started against Coventry and we scored 4. In both those games we played the KM way and looked like the attacking team we were in our two promotion seasons. Hirst Started against Forest , we take the lead through him., links up play and pressures their attackers without fouling them. That was lost when he went off. Delap came on in the Brentford game and looked hungry was flying through tiring defenders scored his goal and was a handful. Definition of madness is to keep doing the same thing over and over , but it’s what we are doing. |
 | Forum Thread | Burgess Wolfy Hirst at 01:52 4 Mar 2025
Should all def be starting more games, We have brought in loads of supposedly better players. But are adrift in the relegation zone. Tonight they held a top 3 Prem side. Hell maybe even Llongo too should be in too. |
 | Forum Reply | Cunha at 19:52 1 Mar 2025
The budgie Sainz got 6 games for spitting, what Cunha did today is worse than that then taking into account his previous record this season should mean it’s several games. It probably won’t of course due to reasons the FA know best. |
 | Forum Reply | Tuanzebe inclusion Town form at 22:56 24 Feb 2025
4 of the losses when he played were Liverpool home and away , Man City away so games we were not likely to get much out of anyway , and Forest away when he went off injured . Has been in our top three players this season, makes such a difference. |
 | Forum Reply | Why no Smzodics yesterday at 11:25 23 Feb 2025
Why do you think many players are eases back into action after injury , they often appear as subs fir 10 or 20 minutes to test out the injury ,SS has already made 1 try at restarting after injury and broke down at Coventry after 30 minutes. Think we can probably trust our medical staff to know what is best for him. |
 | Forum Reply | Why no Smzodics yesterday at 11:03 23 Feb 2025
As there’s have said, not fully fit so why risk him. If we he been 1 goal behind which 10 mins to go, We may have seen him, but with score as it was the game had gone, why on earth would you risk his fitness …let him recover for longer. It’s simple and sensible given the situation of the match. |
 | Forum Reply | Think we set up wrong today at 11:00 23 Feb 2025
To be fair, only Tuanzebe looks up to it on the right … Johnson has awful moments and good ones. What I don’t get is we win at Tottenham playing 5 at the back I with Tuanzebe right centre and Johnson wide right wing back. w Tottenham haven’t changed the way they play at all. It was similar formation for us versus Villa , albeit much deeper when down to 10, Omari took his full back to the cleaners for our goal at Villa Park and looks most effective there both for us and for England u21 , think back to those goals last season cutting in .. so why change it totally and give Godfrey a game who hadn’t looked up to it and not Wolfy who has , and shift Omari inside again. Maybe it was to encourage Clarke after his good show in the cup and only getting a few mins at Villa park being a sub being subbed. But he hasn’t done i5 in the Prem and there should be no room for sentiment who starts matches |
 | Forum Reply | Can anyone enlighten us about Delap? at 23:33 22 Feb 2025
Agree,The game Hirst started at Brentford , we scored three and Hirst link up,play to Chaplin and Burns was top class .. we looked a right threat all over the pitch. Made it harder to defend against us a team because of the movement , would say that game is as close as we have been this season to our attacking play of the last two, seasons… For me we should try it again |
 | Forum Reply | Not sure if it’s been discussed, but the ref was one of the worst I’ve seen at 23:22 22 Feb 2025
Think he did affect the result, not directly with one big decision but broke up the play with silly wrong decisions , the third goal came shortly after the drop ball, that should have been ours… Maddison could be seen waving his winger up so there was no way he was passing it back to us … after their had laid down for no reason at all. Or when Delap got shoved in the back by 1 defender and the ref gave a free kick against him as he collided with another defender. Or when Greaves was down when the 4th goal went in… Ok to stop for one team but not the other |
 | Forum Reply | Tim Robinson the ref on Saturday at 09:36 19 Feb 2025
It won’t, he comes across as an arrogant git. Won’t even have admitted to himself that he changed the Leicester game result big time, at least three times ( the non penalty, the quick fire sending off before VAR could look at the penalty , the late soft free kick , but as Ashton said the whole match was going in that direction, every single decision) .. and it’s not the first time he has done that here… there’s been countless times even way back to the championship … he was the ref way back when young Tayo Edun got sent off on his debut …a poor poor decisin that out our friend Tim back in the spotlight. A very poor ref and should be nowhere near the Premier league. Probably takes joy in the mayhem he causes and being the centre of attention and fully expect the same again from him on Saturday. |
 | Forum Reply | Liam Delap transfer value… at 09:28 19 Feb 2025
Let’s face it , if there’s value to be had from a resale then City will come back in for whatever is in the contract and sell him on just the same as Villa did with Philogene. Why would they allow us to earn an extra 10:or 20;million when they can have it . All of these posts about what’s in the contract is pointless.. let’s give credit to Ashton and Mckenna, they knew how good he was and will have negotiated the best deal they could to get him here .. If we can stay up Delap may choose to stay here another season and further his development as a young striker under KM. If not then . We take what we can out of the deal and move on. As others have said simply enjoy him while he is here in a Town shirt. |
 | Forum Reply | Fine if you don't rate Muric..... at 09:27 3 Feb 2025
He was supported , the SBRL put a Muuuuricc, Muuuriccc chant early in the game on Saturday to show him we were behind him. But it didn’t seem to help… his confidence is shot at the moment, and every game at the moment league or cup there are huge gaffs … so it’s a never ending circle of low confidence. Needs some time out of the spotlight working with good coaches. Definitely does not need abuse on social media that is for sure. But we need a new keeper today. |
